Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Quinn Slides (“Quinn Slides,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes, ships, and delivers orders placed through our website for playgrounds, slides, swings, climbers, and related equipment. This policy is intended to be interpreted consistently with applicable U.S. federal and state consumer protection laws.

1) Shipping Coverage & Availability

We currently ship to locations within the United States, subject to product availability, carrier access, delivery limitations, and any restrictions stated at checkout or in a product listing.

  • Contiguous U.S.: Most orders may be shipped within the 48 contiguous states.
  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO, and remote areas: Availability may be limited, require a custom quote, or involve additional transit time and charges.
  • PO Boxes: Many oversized or freight items cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.
  • Product restrictions: Certain large playground systems or specialty equipment may only be deliverable to accessible commercial or residential street addresses.

2) Order Processing Times

Processing time is the period between order placement and shipment. Processing time does not include transit time.

Important: Any shipment or delivery time displayed on the Site is an estimate unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. If we cannot ship within the time promised, or if no time is stated within the time required by applicable law, we may contact you with a revised estimate and, where required, provide you the option to consent to the delay or cancel for a prompt refund.

3) Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery

Orders may ship by parcel carrier, LTL freight, or another delivery method selected by us or our logistics partners based on package size, weight, destination, and product type.

  • Parcel deliveries: Typically used for smaller items and accessories.
  • Freight deliveries: Common for larger playgrounds, slides, swing sets, or multi-box equipment orders.
  • Split shipments: Items in the same order may ship separately and arrive on different dates.

Delivery estimates begin once an order has shipped. Estimated delivery times are not guarantees unless expressly required by law or stated by us in writing.

4) Oversized & Freight Deliveries

Large playground products and equipment frequently ship by freight carrier. Unless expressly stated otherwise, freight delivery is generally curbside.

  • An adult age 18 or older may be required to be present to accept delivery.
  • The delivery location must be reasonably accessible to the carrier’s truck and equipment.
  • Additional fees may apply for missed appointments, re-delivery, storage, address changes, liftgate service, limited access locations, or special delivery requirements.
  • We recommend that you do not schedule installers, contractors, or events until all items have arrived and have been inspected.

5) Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, freight surcharges, and any special handling fees will generally be shown at checkout or communicated before shipment where a custom quote is required.

  • Promotional or “free shipping” offers apply only as expressly stated and may exclude oversized, freight, custom, remote-area, or surcharge deliveries.
  • If an order contains a pricing or shipping quote error, we reserve the right to contact you with corrected terms before shipment. You may choose to proceed or cancel for a refund if payment has already been made.

6) Order Accuracy, Address Requirements & Changes

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout, including recipient name, delivery address, phone number where needed for scheduling, and any access instructions.

  • Address corrections requested after an order is processed may not be possible and may result in additional fees.
  • Orders may not be cancellable after they have entered fulfillment or shipped.
  • If we are unable to ship due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, additional delivery charges may apply, except where prohibited by law.

7) Shipping Delays & Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, labor interruptions, carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, public emergencies, inaccurate customer information, or other force majeure events.

That said, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep you informed of material shipping delays and to provide updated shipment information when available. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable right you may have under applicable law.

8) Damaged, Lost, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

  • Visible damage: If possible, note any visible damage, shortage, or packaging issues on the delivery receipt before signing.
  • Concealed damage or missing parts: Contact us as soon as reasonably possible after discovery, and preferably within 5 calendar days of delivery, or within any longer period required by applicable law.
  • Helpful documentation: Please keep the packaging and send photos of the product, packaging, labels, and delivery condition when available.
Lost package claims: If tracking shows “delivered” but you cannot locate your package, please check around the delivery area, with household members, neighbors, building management, or the carrier first, then contact us. We will work with the carrier as appropriate.

9) Refused, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Shipments

If an order is refused, unclaimed, or returned as undeliverable for reasons not caused by our error, we may deduct actual return shipping, storage, redelivery, and handling costs from any refund to the extent permitted by law.

If the shipment problem is caused by our mistake, carrier error, or a defective or incorrect item, we will work with you on an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law and our posted policies.

10) Title & Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss for products pass in accordance with applicable law. If the law of your state provides you with greater consumer protection, that law will control to the extent required.

For your protection, we encourage immediate inspection of all delivered items, especially freight shipments, but failure to note damage at delivery does not waive any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11) Relationship to Other Policies

This Shipping Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Return/Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, any mandatory consumer protection law will control.
